I watched Buffy because I was told I had to see the hunk of burning love named Angel.
It did nothing for me and I almost turned it off until I saw Giles. I swooned. I looked for Joyce/Giles and ended up finding Buffy/Giles. I stood upon a precipice knowing that if I took the plunge, I would never return to another Giles pairing.
Needless to say I jumped in and eventually started writing my own B/G goodness.
